A downloadable game

Desolate Despair is a short story-driven game set in a world where the SCP Foundation and the TNO: Last Days of Europe universes collide.

-

The game is set in a timeline where Germany won World War II (The New Order: Last Days of Europe) and SCP Foundation universe.

-

The gameplay takes place in Site-200 following a devastating raid by the Chaos Insurgency. This hostile organization, which defected from the Foundation in 1948, carried out the assault under a contract from the German-led Unity Pact. The attack resulted in the total collapse of OFN logistics within the Antarctic region.

-

In this canon, Russia has been reunited by the mad "regent" Sergey Taboritsky, plunging the region into a state of horrific collapse.

-

Russia's unification under the mad "regent" Sergey Taboritsky ended in a horrific "Midnight" collapse. The "Holy Russian Empire" dissolved into a poisoned, post-apocalyptic wasteland of warring warlords and chemical fallout, creating a power vacuum that shifted the global balance and left the region's anomalous remnants up for grabs.

-

The game features a non-linear narrative with more than two distinct endings, driven by the player's choices. Embracing a retro-inspired aesthetic, the story unfolds through the perspectives of two playable characters: a high-ranking Foundation Colonel and a subversive D-Class personnel, each offering a unique lens on the unfolding chaos.

-

The further course of events and the escalation of the conflict depend entirely on the player's decisions.
